Privacy Policy
Vee AI Agent ("Vee", "we") is an AI personal assistant, operated by BobWork, that reads, organises and drafts or sends messages on behalf of the person who connects their own accounts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: [email protected].
1. Google user data we access and why
If you choose "Connect Gmail" or "Continue with Google" and approve Google's consent screen, we receive access to your Google account through Google APIs. We request only what the features need:
| Permission | What Vee does with it |
|---|---|
| Sign-in (openid, email, profile) | Identify your account and show "Connected as…". |
| Gmail (gmail.modify) | Read your messages; apply labels, archive or move to Trash at your request; send a reply that you approved (or, only if you turn it on, routine replies to people you already write to, up to a daily limit). |
| Google Calendar (calendar.events) | Check for clashes, create events and reminders you ask for. |
| Google Drive files (drive.file) and Sheets (spreadsheets) | Create or update only the files and spreadsheets you ask Vee to work with. |
Vee does not ask to permanently delete mail, change Gmail settings or filters, or read all of your Drive.
2. Limited Use
Vee's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In plain words, for data from your Google account:
- We use it only to provide the user-facing features you see in Vee.
- We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising.
- We do not use it to train or improve AI or machine-learning models.
- No human reads it unless you ask for support and give permission for specific messages, it is needed for security or abuse investigation, or the law requires it. Our staff do not browse mailboxes.
- We do not transfer it to others except the service providers in section 4, as the law requires, for security, or in a merger with notice to you.
3. How we store and protect it
- Tokens. The access tokens Google gives us are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM), bound to your account, with the keys kept outside the database.
- No mailbox archive. We read messages from Gmail when needed and do not keep a copy of your mailbox.
- What we keep. An action log (message ID, sender display name, category, status, time; no message text); approval cards (the draft and a short excerpt, removed after you decide and within 30 days at the latest); your chat with Vee; short notes about your preferences and writing style, which you can view and delete; and usage counts.
- Isolation. Data is stored and queried per user. All traffic uses HTTPS.
4. Service providers
We share your data only with providers that process it for us: an AI model provider (Anthropic or OpenAI, whichever is configured for the service; one at a time), to which the text of the messages needed for a task (for example to summarise or draft a reply) is sent over an encrypted connection through its API; and Render, which hosts the application and database. We do not use your Google data to train models, and we have chosen API terms under which the provider does not train on API content by default.
5. Your choices
- Disconnect Gmail any time in Vee (this revokes Vee's access at Google and deletes the stored tokens), and remove Vee's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Delete your data by emailing [email protected] from your registered address; we delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
- Access or correct your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to the same address.
- Control sending. You can keep Vee in "ask me first" mode so nothing is sent without your approval.
6. Cookies, children, changes
We use one session cookie to keep you signed in. Vee is not for people under 18. If we change how we use Google user data we will update this page and ask for your consent again before using your data in the new way.
